Explanation

This activity is used to signal the beginning of the analysis on the risk record and change the status on the risk analysis to reflect this. A review can be started on a risk analysis when it is in the Preliminary, Waiting Analysis or Analyzed states.

The status shows that there is work being done on the Analysis but has no functional impact.

Prerequisites

A risk analysis ID must exist.

System Effects

The Status Analysis in Progress is assigned to the risk analysis.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to change the status of the risk analysis to Analysis in Progress:

1. Open the Risk Analysis Navigator or Risk Analysis Details window and query (F3) for the risk analysis ID in mind.
2. Right click, click Status and then click Start Analysis. The status of the risk analysis will change to Analysis in Progress.
