Register Employee Induction Program

Explanation

Use this activity to plan which induction (orientation) activities the employee should complete. You can choose from the standard induction activities.

The most common induction activity is meeting with a Recruitment Officer or HR personnel and the employee's direct supervisor. Some induction programs include activities such as getting a photo ID, getting measurement for work uniforms, signing documents, etc. Some may also include a training program.

The induction program is generally the same for all employees. However, there may be cases where additional or different tasks are required.

As a result of this activity, an induction program, consisting of induction activities, will be registered in the system for the selected employee.

Procedure

  1. Open the EmployeeInduction Program window and add a new record in the header.
  2. In the Emp ID field, enter the identifier of an employee for whom a set of induction activities will be planned. You can use a list of values.
    Note: If there are any mandatory activities configured, they will automatically appear in the table.
  3. In the table, you can add a new record to add an induction activity.
  4. In the Action field, select an induction activity. Use a list of values.
  5. In the Plan Date, enter the date on which the activity is supposed to take place.
    Note: Current system date is suggested by default.
  6. In the Person Responsible field, you can enter the identifier of a person who will be responsible for the induction activity.
  7. In the Remark field, you can enter any comments about the activity.
  8. To add more activities, go to step 3.
  9. After adding all relevant induction activities, save your changes.
