Cancel Receiving Advice

Explanation

This activity is used to cancel a receiving advice. A receiving advice can have the following statuses: Created, Communicated and Cancelled. The receiving advice can be cancelled while it is in the Created or Communicated status, but before a supplier self-billing invoice has been created based on the receiving advice.

Prerequisites

 A supplier self-billing invoice must not have been created on the receiving advice.

System Effects

• The receiving advice will be set to the Cancelled status. 
• Any receipt lines that were connected to the cancelled receiving advice will be available for connecting again.

Procedure

1. Open the Receiving Advice window and query for the relevant receiving advice.
2. Right-click on the header and then click Cancel Receiving Advice.
