Disqualify Skip Lot Sampling    

Explanation

Use this activity to disqualify a data point to continue in a skip lot process. A product can be disqualified from Skip Lot state Skip Lot inspection due to one or more reasons. It can be due to no production activity during a period agreed by both the supplier and the responsible authority or when the responsible authority  wishes to resume Lot by Lot inspection.

Product will be automatically disqualified from Skip Lot state Skip Lot Interruption if the requalification is not achieved. Reasons for not achieving the requalification can be a lot is not accepted during Skip Lot State Skip Lot Inspection, a lot is accepted but the qualification score is reset to Zero or 4 to 6 lots have been accepted on original inspection.  

Prerequisites

• Control Plan should be in the state Active (Manufacturing/Purchasing)
• Data point should use Acceptance Sampling Inspection code and it should be in the Skip Lot State Skip Lot Interruption.

System Effects

As a result of this activity

• Skip Lot State will be set to Lot by Lot Inspection
• Inspection Frequency will be reset to null
• Qualification Score will be reset to 0

Procedure

1. Go to Control Plan - Manufacturing or Control Plan - Purchasing.
2. Right-click on the relevant Data point and select Disqualify Skip Lot Sampling.
3. Select Yes when asked if you would like to disqualify the Data point.
