Resolve Project Currency Errors

Explanation

If multicurrency budgeting and forecasting or project currency is used sometimes errors occur if the currency code on the activity connected object is not present in the currency rate types used for budgeting and forecasting which is specified in Project Details/Currency tab. In this case calculations can not be performed for the currencies Base Currency at B&F Rate and/or Project Currency. By adding the missing currency code to the relevant rate types the errors can be corrected.

Prerequisites

• Budgeting and forecasting in multicurrency and/or project currency must be selected on the project

System Effects

• Errors in the Activity/Connections tab for the currency types Base Currency at B&F Rate and Project Currency will be corrected.

Procedure

1. Open the Project Currency Errors window, and query for the company and project on which the errors should be viewed.
2. Right click, click Resolve Currency Errors. A dialog box is opened.
3. Click OK.
