Report Progress on Task
Explanation
This activity is used to report progress on tasks in a project
activity. It also explains how to perform this by using the
business-to-business (B2B) interface.
Prerequisites
- Tasks should be defined for the project activity.
- The activity should be in the Released status.
For B2B customers:
- In addition to the above prerequisites, the user must have access to the
Projects B2B portlet.

Procedure
- Open the Project Navigator
window and query for the relevant project. For B2B users, click on the Project ID link of the relevant project on the
Projects B2B portlet and the Project Navigator page is opened.
- Select the required sub project and activity in the navigator. Select the Tasks
tab.
- Optionally, if not already defined for the task, enter a suitable Progress
Template.
- Report progress by selecting the relevant progress template step. The Progress
field is automatically updated with the progress value that was defined for
this progress template step.
- You can also select the Completed check box to set the task to
100 % completed directly. It will override the progress associated with the
selected Progress Template Step, if any.
- Save the
record.
