Recalculate Period Template for Material Plan Graph

Explanation

This activity is used to recalculate the period template that is selected for the material plan.

Prerequisites

• An inventory part must have been defined.
• A period template must exist in the Period Template Maintenance window.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the system recalculates the selected period template's begin date to match the date you have specified in the Recalculate Period Template dialog box.

Recalculate Period Details

Procedure

1. Open the Material Plan Graph window.
2. Query for the inventory part number, site, and period template ID.
3. Right-click and click Recalculate Period Template. The Recalculate Period Template dialog box opens with the period template's last recalculation date displayed in the Period 1 Begin Date field.
4. Enter the date that you want to use in place of the default value in the Period 1 Begin Date field.
5. Click OK to recalculate the period template to use the date that you entered as the period template's begin date.
