Use this dialog box to inherit terminals and wires to a design object from its connected design part. In order to do so, a design part with terminals and wires should be connected to the design object.
The property inheritance options are Keep, Update and Replace. Selecting the Keep option for the design object terminals and/or wires will ensure that the design object terminals and/or wires will be retained. Selecting the Update option for design object terminals and/or wires still inherits the same number of terminals and/or wires from its design part. However, design object terminal/wire information such as type, group, connection level, area, color etc. etc. are updated only if those values are empty on the design object properties. Selecting the Replace option for the design object terminals and/or wires is ensured to replace design object terminals/wires and all related information from the connected design part.
