Personal Reminder

Using this Portlet

You can use this portlet to view information about important dates concerning the employees you have access to, e.g. birthdays, new hires, last working day etc.

Note! the normal position access will not be considered for planned induction program related reminders.

Prerequisites

No setup is required before you use this portlet for the first time, except your personal customizations (see below).

Viewing the Search Results

This portlet displays your search results in a table format. 

The following items appear in the search results: 

Name: The employees Internal Display Name. Click on the name for more information about the employee.

Date: Date when the event occurs.

Years: If relevant, displays the number of years connected to the event.

Remark: Displays a description of the event.

Customizing this Portlet

Using the Customize settings page, you can define search criteria and customize the layout of your portlet.

When Employee Development, Recruitment and Training Administration is installed the following events can also be added to the portlet:

If you only want to display employees who are your direct subordinates, use the Show Only Direct Subordinates option. This option is used primarily by people who have access to many or all employees, such as high-level managers and members of the HR department staff. The Show Only Direct Subordinates option cannot be used if you are defined as a counselor in the system and viewing counseling plans.

You can select the number of days you want to show information about. The choices are the next 7, 14 or 30, 90, 180, 360 days. 30 days is the default value.
