Manually Generate Work Order

Explanation

Use this activity to manually generate work orders directly from PM actions. You can do that if you need to generate a work order for a certain PM action, regardless of generation conditions. If you want to have several progressing WO at the same time or generate any line, then you need to set the Performed Value Based and Performed Date Based to No.

Prerequisites

The Separate PM action should be active and valid.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the current PM action will generate a work order. It will then be available for further preparations along with other regular work orders.

Procedure

1. Open the Separate PM Action window and query for an existing record (F3).
2. Right-click any where on the window and click Generate Work Order.
3. If you want to manually generate a work order from a calendar plan or condition plan click the Maintenance Plan tab for the PM action, select the required line, right-click and click Generate Work Order.
4. If Performed Date Based is Yes then it is only allowed to manually generate next due calendar line and if Performed Value Based is Yes, then it is only allowed to manually generate next due condition line with a generation value.
