Enter Start Value/Interval

Explanation

Use this activity to enter a start value and interval for accumulated type parameters. When a measurement of a parameter exceeds the limit for generation, a PM action is generated.

Prerequisites

Before start value and interval unit is entered, the following must have been completed:

• Current PM action retrieved in the window.
• Test point and parameter of accumulated type entered in the window.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, all PM generation criteria for an accumulated type parameter will be defined for the PM action.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to enter the information:

1. Select the Criteria tab. 
2. In the Start Value field, enter the value of the parameter at which a PM action should be generated.
3. In the Interval field, enter the interval for generation.
4. Save the information.
