Use this window to determine the effectiveness of a production unit by analyzing its APQ. This window contains three different graphs through which APQ can be analyzed: APQ chart, APQ Loss chart, and APQ Goal Deviation chart. By default, the normal APQ chart is displayed. To change the default view, select the required view from the values in the APQ Chart list.
The following table shows a description of the different types of views (charts) which are available in this window:
Chart | Description |
APQ Chart | This is a normal graph of the APQ consisting of a single dotted line per A (Availability), P (Performance), Q (Quality), and the combined APQ. The dot represents the average value for a calculated period of time, and is placed at the midpoint of each period. |
APQ Loss Chart | The APQ Loss chart is a stacked graph over the A, P, and Q losses. (This chart can be considered an inverted APQ chart.) |
APQ Goal Deviation Chart | This chart shows the difference (i.e., in percentage) between the defined A, P, Q, and APQ goals and their actual values. A negative difference indicates that the actual value is below the set goal. |
Note: Both, APQ chart and APQ Loss chart shows APQ values. Therefore, depending on your requirements, you can choose either one of these charts when following-up and/or analyzing APQ values.
In addition to the A, P, Q and APQ values, you can view the total produced quantity and total scrapped quantity for a given time period in all the charts. Click See more to view additional information, such as, TEEP (Total Equipment Effectiveness Performance), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure), MTTR + MWT (Mean Time to Repair + Mean Waiting Time), and the sum of all stop times per system stop event type in an extended view.
All views contain a number of filtering options, e.g., general filter options such as Show Search Criteria and Advanced Search Criteria. You can also filter APQ values through the options available in the graph control of the current view. Alternatively, you can use the relevant right mouse button options which are available in all the views to open the corresponding event overview window, whereby it will be possible to open an event in its single machine view.
