Use this tab to connect one or more inventory locations to a production line. These inventory locations can store components for the production line's parts as well as the completed parts. For a location specified as Inbound the inventory location you link must be of inventory type Production Line Location. Only components for the parts the production line manufactures can be reserved at these inventory locations. If these reservations are not sufficient, you can reserve components in other inventory locations. If the Allow Outside Reserve/Issue flag is set to Not Allowed the locations specified on the production line are not available for reservations or issues by others.
For a location specified as Outbound the inventory location can be of the types Production Line, Floor Stock and Picking.
