Multilevel Availability Check/Multilevel Availability
Usage
Use this tab to check the availability of a part quantity on a specific need date.
The part demand quantity exploded through the product structure, and the information about when and how much
of each part in the structure must be ordered and completed in order to meet the need date will be calculated and presented in this tab.
The availability messages and the respective indications are as follows;
- Available covers Demand: there is no need to create new supply.
- Available + Open Supply covers Demand: there is no need to create new supply.
- Need Orders: there is a need to create new supply. However the calculated start date of this supply will be later than or equal to today (i.e., the system date).
- Min Simulated Start Date earlier than Today: there is a need to create new supply. The calculated start date of this supply will be earlier than today (i.e., the system date).
- Not Calculated, Parent Qty OK: the components have not been netted
because there is sufficient parent quantity available. This message is only displayed if the
Show All Levels check box is selected.
The message is per inventory part number and not per structure item. If the same component part exists multiple times in the structure,
the same message appears for every occurrence of the component.
