Define and Maintain Repair Structures

Explanation

This activity is used to maintain repair structures. Repair interim orders and their corresponding supply shop orders are created when disposition shop orders for parts requiring modifications or discrepancies are approved. For each modification or discrepancy being addressed, the repair structures are used to pull in the required consumable and spare parts for the relevant repair codes.

Detailed material information, such as component part quantities, is specified in the Product Structure window.

Prerequisites

The repair structures cannot be activated unless the monolithic repair structure alternates derived are in the state Buildable.

Procedure

1. Open the Repair Code Structure window.
2. Populate or query for the required position/real part.
3. Create a new record in the upper table.
4. Enter the required repair code or use the List of Values.
5. Save the record.
6. If you want to include the structure alternate component in this repair structure selecting the Included check box.
7. You have the option to Activate, Cancel or Review a selected line by using the right mouse button options Activate, Cancel or Review. The Repair Code Structure field will be updated accordingly.
