Revert Structure Changes

Explanation

This activity is used to roll back a structure change done to a multilevel structure during the multilevel repair process.

Prerequisites

Structure changes defined for the multilevel repair shop order must exist. However, no subsequent inventory transaction should have taken place after performing the original structure change.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, structure changes done earlier will be rolled back to the initial state and respective repair history records will be deleted.

Component Replacement Details

Procedure

1. Open the Shop Order window and query for your multilevel repair shop order.
2. Open the Multilevel Repair Structure tab.
3. Select the top part from the graphical tree structure, right-click and then click Expand Descendents.
4. Select the revision node of the parent part where you want to roll back the changes.
5. Right-click and then click Component Replacement to open the Component Replacement Details dialog box with the parent part you selected in the header as the parent part.
6. Notice that the components in which the structure changes have been defined are listed at the top of the table. Select the component line whose structure change that you want to roll back. 
7. Select Revert Changes and click OK.
