Plan Shop Order

Explanation

Use this activity to plan a shop order, i.e., change the status of an order in Released or Parked status to Planned. A planned shop order is a low-status order. You cannot reserve material or schedule operations for low-status orders, such as for a part you plan to manufacture but have not yet planned when to begin manufacturing. You can only plan an order with Released or Parked status. Shop orders in Planned status may be pegged manually.

Prerequisites
