Enter Inspection Results

Explanation

This activity is used to enter the inspection results once an inspection is completed. The inspection information cannot be updated after the Inspection Line Completed check box is selected.

Prerequisites

The material review board (MRB) case must have one or more inspection lines entered. 

System Effects

• An inspection line will be updated to the Completed status.
• If you attempt to select the Inspection Line Completed check box without entering the inspection results, a message will be displayed prompting you to enter at least one inspection detail to complete the inspection line.
• Information will be automatically displayed in the Completion Date and the Completed By fields.

Procedure

1. Open the MRB Case window.
2. Query or populate for the required MRB case ID.
3. Click the Inspection tab.
4. Enter the inspection results in the Inspection Result field.
5. Save the record.
6. Then select the Inspection Line Completed check box.
7. Save the record.
