Delete Shop Order Component

Explanation

Use this activity to delete a component part in the structure of the parent part, e.g., a part that is not needed for this shop order.

Prerequisites

This activity requires the existence of a shop order material either with the status of Planned or Released or in the status of Parked with status before parked set to Planned or Released.

If a material line is manually pegged against a purchase order line or a shop order, the pegging has to be removed first.

System Effects

As a result of this activity the system deletes a component. This deletion affects only this shop order, not the entire part structure.

Procedure

1. Select the Material tab.
2. Select the material line you want to delete.
3. Delete the record. This marks the line with an X sign.
4. Save to confirm deletion.
