Explanation
This activity is used to view the material availability for a shop order.
Prerequisites
The shop order must have been created.

As a result of this activity the system displays the material availability for a shop order.

Procedure
From the Shop Order Availability window:
- Retrieve the shop order whose availability you want to view.
- To use the current date as a due date, select the Pick Plan Today check box in the
Query Conditions area.
- To view non-reserved material lines, select the Only Show Required>0 check box. The lines with non-reserved material are displayed in the lower part of the window.
- To view material lines with shortages, select the Only Show Shortages check box. The lines having a shortage of material are displayed in the lower part of the window.
From the Simulate Availability for Shop Order Material window:
- Query for the part number.
- Enter start date and quantity.
- Right-click and click Simulate.
- To view material lines with shortages, select the Only Show Shortages
check box. The lines having a shortage of material are displayed in the lower part of the window.
