Verify Scheduling Server Availability

Explanation

Use this activity to verify that you have contact with the Scheduling Server by retrieving the system date used by your scheduling server.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that a site connected to a Scheduling Server exists.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• The system establishes contact with the Scheduling Server and returns the Scheduling Server date and time.

Procedure

1. Open the Scheduling Basic Data window.
2. Populate the window or query for your site.
3. In the Site field, if it is not already displayed, select the site for which to verify communication.
4. Click the Shop Order Scheduling/Scheduling Server tab.
5. Click Get Scheduling Server Date to verify server availability.
