Change or Enter W/D/R Number (Pallet)

Explanation

W/D/R (Waiver, Deviation, Rejection) number means that the pallets are in some way wrong or that they deviate from standard. During the procedure explained below, Change W/D/R No is used to alter or enter a new W/D/R number. A W/D/R number field can contain any kind of information, whether letters and numbers or a combination of both. The purpose is to pinpoint the pallets that in some way are wrong.

Prerequisites

• The inventory location type should be Floor Stock, Picking or Production Line.
• If the W/D/R number should be updated for the barcode label, the barcode must have been defined in IFS/Purchasing, the Purchase Order Receipt/Pallet tab.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the W/D/R number is changed or entered.

Procedure

From the Inventory Part In Stock window:

1. Either query for the inventory location record or select Populate.
2. Select the line with the desired inventory location record.
3. In the operations menu in the lower part of the window, select Change W/D/R No.
4. The Change W/D/R No dialog box appears.
5. Enter your new W/D/R number in the To W/D/R No field.
6. Click OK.
