Use this tab to add segments to a linear asset. A segment holds the attributes and their values for a specific part of a linear asset. Two or more segments can overlap on the linear asset and there can be parts of the linear asset that are not covered by a segment. If there is a specific part that is not being covered by a segment the attribute values for that particular part of the asset is defined by the attribute values on the linear asset itself.
When creating a segment, the technical class attributes and their values will be inherited from the linear asset. If the segment have an own technical class, it is possible to choose between inheriting all attribute values or only attribute values that has an entry.
