Disconnect Parallel Consolidation Structure Node

Explanation

This activity is used to disconnect a node from a parallel consolidation structure.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, the status of the parallel consolidation structure should be In Progress.

System Effects

As a result of this activity,

• The node will be disconnected from the parallel consolidation structure.
• Disconnect transactions are created for the disconnected node.

Procedure

To disconnect a node:

1. Open the Parallel Consolidation Structure window and search for the parallel consolidation structure with the node to be disconnected.
2. Right-click on the node to be disconnected and click Disconnect Node to open the Disconnect Node dialog box.
3. Enter the date of disconnection in the Event Date field.
4. Modify the value displayed in the Period field if required. (Note: A value is automatically displayed when the event date is entered.)
5. Enter a description in the Comment field if required.
6. Double click on the Notes check box, if you want to enter notes.
7. Click OK.
