Copy Code Part Value Mapping
Explanation
This activity is used to copy code part value mapping from a selected
reporting entity to one or more reporting entities. The purpose of this activity
is to minimize the time taken to define the code part value mapping.
Prerequisites
In order to perform this activity:
- A master company (i.e. a company with the
Master Company check box selected in the Company/General
tab) should exist.
- At least two reporting entities connected to reporting companies and
reporting entity groups should exist in the master company.

The reporting companies code parts should have been mapped against that of
the master company.
- Code part value mapping should have been defined for one reporting
entity.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, code part value mapping from one reporting
entity is copied to one or more reporting entities.

Procedure
To copy the code part value mapping of a selected reporting entity:
- Open the
Code
Part Value Mapping window and search for the reporting entity from which
you want to copy the code part value mapping.
- Right-click and then click Copy Code Part Value Mapping to open
the Copy Code Part
Value Mapping dialog box.
- Modify the value displayed in the Reporting Entity field if
required. The List of Values can be used to select the required reporting
entity.
- In the Reporting Entity Group field, enter the reporting entity
group of the reporting entities to which you want to copy the code part
value mapping. (Note: The code part value mapping is copied to all
the reporting entities of the selected reporting entity group.)
- Select the relevant check boxes in the Code Part Selection
section to indicate the code parts to be included in the copy. Select the
Select All check box if all the code parts should be included.
- Click OK.
