Enter Elimination Codes

Explanation

Use this activity to enter elimination codes that are to be used in an internal elimination structure.

Prerequisites

Before the elimination codes can be entered, the following must have been completed:

• One code part must have been defined for the elimination code. This is done in Define Code String in IFS/Accounting Rules.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the updating routine can use these elimination codes and mark the corresponding transactions with these codes.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to enter the elimination codes:

1. Open Code Part Values.
2. Select the tab for the code part defined for the elimination code.
3. Use the New function and enter the information for the code part values, i.e., the elimination codes.
4. Save the information.
