Activate Project Group

Explanation

Use this activity to set status of the Project Group to Active.

Prerequisites

Before information on a project group can be entered, the following must have been completed:

• The code part function Project Accounting must have been specified for one code part in Define Code String in IFS/Accounting Rules.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, Project Group status will change from Preliminary to Active. Only the project groups in status Active can be used to create new projects.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to enter a new project group:

1. Open Project Groups.
2. Query for the Project Group you need.
3. Right-click and select Activate.
4. The status of the project group will be changed to Active. This project group can now be used as a template to create new projects.
