Authorize Depreciation Proposal

Explanation

This activity is used to authorize a depreciation proposal. This is normally done to check and confirm the depreciation calculations.

Prerequisites

Before the proposal is confirmed, the following must have been completed:

• The depreciation proposal must have been created. The status must be Created.

System Effects

As a result of this activity the proposal gets the Authorized status.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to confirm authorize a proposal:

1. Open Depreciation Proposals window and query for the depreciation proposal that you want to authorize.
2. Select the record that you queried for, right-click and click Authorize Depreciation Proposal.

Note: The same procedure can be used to carry out this activity in the Depreciation Proposal window.
