Usage

Use this window to view, add, or change information about process failures for Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA). A process failure is the inability of a manufacturing process to perform its intended function. Each failure can have one or more causes and effects. Causes are the conditions that result in a failure. Effects are the adverse consequences the customer might experience as a result of the failure.

For the description of each tab in the window, follow the appropriate link: Causes, Effects. From the Causes tab, you can right-click and open the FMEA Failure Causes Details window.
