Set Employee Status
Explanation
This activity is used to assign an employee status to an employee and to
specify how status changes should become effective for the employee. You can do
this by specifying the status code and the date on which it should be effective
for the employee.
Prerequisites
In order to perform this activity, status codes are required to be defined in the
Employee Status
Codes window.
System Effects
- If the employee status code valid for the current date is the status code
which has been defined as the active status of the company, the employee
will be accessible to supervisors. Otherwise, the employee will only be
accessible to users with HR Application Manager rights.
- If there is no status code valid for the employee on the system date,
the status code defined as the preliminary status in the company will apply
to the employee.
