Create Schedules
Explanation
Use this activity to define the schedules used for
a day type, which is then connected to a specific period of time when creating a
calendar. You can also create schedules in the
Schedules
window,
although the day numbers must be defined in the
Schedule window. Schedules
cannot be overlapping. This mandatory task is to be performed by a system
administrator or equivalent person.
Prerequisites
This activity has the following prerequisites:
- Day types and periods must be defined.
System Effects
As a result of this activity:
- The schedule can be connected to a specific period when creating a new
calendar.
- Modifying a schedule or exception schedule changes its calendar's
state to Changes Pending, indicating that the generated versions of those
calendars are not in sync with the attached rules (Schedules, Day Types, Schedule Exceptions).
-
The calendar must then be regenerated before it can be used in the system.
