Define County Code

Explanation

Use this activity to create county codes that can be used when entering address information in IFS/Enterprise and for other purposes, such as reporting.

Prerequisites

Before you can create county codes, the following must have been completed:

• States must be defined in States.

Procedure

1. Open the Counties window.
2. Query for the country code for which you want to add or modify county codes.
3. To create a new county code, create a new record.
4. In the State Code field, use the List of Values to select a state code for the county code you are adding or modifying. The state name will display automatically.
5. In the County Code field, enter the new county code if you are adding a county code record. If you are modifying an existing county code record, you cannot edit this field.
6. In the County Name field, enter the county name that corresponds to the county code. If you are modifying an existing record, you can change the contents of this field.
7. Save the record.
