Enter Opportunity Types

Explanation

This activity is used to view, modify, or enter information about opportunity types. Opportunity types specify the nature of the opportunity. This can be carried out by a user who has access to CRM data.

An opportunity type is created and is available for use on the business opportunity.

Procedure

1. Open the CRM Basic Data window and click the Opportunity Types tab.
2. Create a new record.
3. Enter the short code for opportunity type in the Opportunity Type field.
4. Enter a description of the opportunity type in the Description field.
5. Save the information.
