Use this dialog box to hold a component repair order line. This is useful when circumstances arise which make it impossible to proceed with the process of a component repair order line. For being able to put the line on-hold, the line hold reason must be defined as basic data. The line hold reason explains why the repair process is interrupted. Interruptions are recorded in the journal on the component repair order and can be studied there.
You can hold a component repair order line at any time. You can you pick up the work again by releasing the line to repair at any time and without any specific condition requirements. The repair process can continue with the next step in the process.
