Copy Process Action Configuration

Explanation

Use this activity to copy document class and process settings and use them with another document class.

Prerequisites

• There must exist at least one document class process action header as a source from which to copy.
• The selected document class and process cannot have a configuration.

System Effects

• A new document class process action header will be created.
• The process settings and document types that were configured for the original document class and process will then be copied to the class and process of your choice and will affect the file operations of that document class.

Procedure

1. Open the Document Class Process Action window. 
2. Query a document class to display its current document class process actions.
3. Right-click in the window header and select Copy Configuration to open the Copy Configuration dialog box 
4. In the To Class field, use the List button to enter a document class without a current process action configuration.
5. In the To Process field, select one of the available process actions.
6. Click OK to copy the configuration.
