Define Contract Revision Audit Trail Settings
Explanation
It is possible to enable history logging of changes done on contract
revisions. If Audit Trail is enabled all changes will be logged as defined in activity
Log Contract Revision
Line Item Change.
Prerequisites
- Contract must not be in status Completed, Closed, Canceled or Lost.
- Contract revision must not be in status Obsolete or Canceled.
System Effects
Audit trailing is enabled or disabled.

Procedure
- From
Sales
Contract/Revision tab highlight the revision to change the
audit trail settings on and select Audit Trail Settings.
- The
Audit Trail Settings dialog box with Audit Trail,
Variation
Order and Variation Order Comment Required check boxes will be displayed. By default they will be indicating
the current settings. Variation Order and Variation Order Comment cannot be selected if
the Audit Trail check box is not selected.
- Select or clear the boxes as required.
- Click OK to confirm.

Sales
Contract/Items tab.
