Complete Contract

Explanation

Once the work has been completed according to the contract, and a completion certificate has been received, the status on the contract itself should be changed to Completed. Once the contract has been completed, you cannot create new revisions, change the information in the contract, or re-open the contract.

If Applications for Payment is used, all interim retention will automatically be released. It will still be possible to create applications and to process financial transactions. See the Release Retention activity for more details.

Procedure

In either the Sales Contract or the Sales Contracts window, right-click, point to Status and then click Complete.
