Add Contract Task

Explanation

Use this activity to add simple contract tasks. The tasks may be used to create user-defined dates for controlling the tendering, planning, and execution of the contract without having a complete project plan in IFS/Project, or when IFS/Project is not used at all.

Prerequisites

A contract must have been created.

Tasks will be added to the contract.

Procedure

  1. Open the Sales Contract window and click the Tasks tab.
  2. Insert a new line.
  3. Enter relevant information regarding the task. It is required to enter a value in the Task Name field.
  4. If dates are entered, the finish dates cannot be earlier than the start dates.
  5. The responsible ID can be selected from the List of Values which displays all the valid person IDs.
  6. Save the information.
  7. Repeat the steps if necessary.
