Define Special Prices For Parts In The Structure

Explanation

Use this activity to register special prices that should be applied to the product structure (through the application of the complex assembly service contract on the complex assembly work order). The sales part must be connected to the product structure and a maintenance level along with a price and currency. The description of the sales part should indicate that it is used for a special price definition. Special prices are only applicable to the Material cost type.

Prerequisites

• The complex assembly service contract header must be created.
• The sales part must be defined in the Inventory Part window.
• The maintenance level must be defined on the Inventory Part/Manufacturing MRO tab.
• The cost type must be defined on the Contract Management Basic Data/Cost types tab. 

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the special price for the part in the structure is defined.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to define special prices for parts in a structure:

1. Open the Complex Assembly Service Contract window and click on the Structure Pricing tab.
2. Click on the Special Price sub-tab and create a new record. 
3. When you create a new entry, the site to which you are connected to appears automatically in the Site field. Use the List of Values if you wish to select another site.
4. In the Sales Part field, enter a sales part number. Use the List of Values to select a suitable value.
5. A value in the Price field appears automatically when you enter a value in the Sales Part field. Change the value if required. 
6. In the Currency field, enter the type of currency for the specified price. Use the List of Values to select a suitable value.
7. Save the record (F12).
