Decommission Compatible Unit Revision

Explanation

This activity is used to decommission a compatible unit revision thereby scrap the connected asset.

A compatible unit revision must exist, which is created for the purpose of decommissioning. i.e. This compatible unit revision must have another revision of it which is in status Active.
Work orders connected to the execution items, which were used to decommission the compatible unit must be completed.
The connected design object and equipment object should have the design status and operational status, PlannedForScrap and Out of Operation respectively.

The status of the compatible unit will be set to status Decommissioned.
Sub Units connected to the decommissioned compatible unit will also be decommissioned if they satisfy the above prerequisites.

Open the Compatible Unit Navigator or Compatible Units window.
In the Compatible Unit Navigator or Compatible Units window search for the record which is to be decommissioned.
Right click on the selected line or the selected node in the navigator.
Choose the option Status and then the status Decommission.
