The Create Cash Flow Analysis process is used for gathering data from IFS/Payment, IFS/Purchasing, IFS Projects IFS/Customer Order and from manual transactions entered directly in the Cash Flow Analysis component. It is possible to enter and modify the analyses to be used. The process also contains activities for presenting data by means of reports and cash flow exposure details. It is recommended that each user have his own analysis to avoid interference with updating information. If several companies are to be included in an analysis, the same Analyse ID must be entered in all companies from which you want to select information.
The information can be presented in two different ways. The first is a Cash Flow Exposure report (presented in thousands). If no single currency is selected, all currencies are converted into the accounting currency, showing incoming balances, incoming cash flows, and outgoing cash flows as per selected analysis on one axis. The other axis shows the incoming balance for every selected time slot.
The second is a Cash Flow Exposure Report detail with a more detailed report of transactions included in a selected analysis. This report gives detailed information about the source and a description of the flow, e.g., a customer invoice or a supplier order The amount in original currency and the amount in accounting currency is also given. All lines can be copied to another tool, such as Excel, by marking all lines and then using the copy and paste function.
