Use this tab window to display or modify an employee's development area. The window is divided into two tables. The first one is read-only and displays the negative gap between the employee's competencies and the competencies as specified in the Job Specification window. I.e., the job requires a higher competency level than the employee possesses. The data in the second table, which you are allowed to modify, is obtained from IFS/Employee Development, Employee Self Assessment/Development Area. If you add new development areas in this window, they are automatically transferred to the Employee Self Assessment window, on the Development Area tab.
