Configure Audit Object Connections

Explanation

Use this activity to allow audits to be connected to any kind of business object, for instance a supplier, project activity or customer. When a business object is made audit aware, then an audit option will be available in the attachment panel of the required business object, in order to be able to create new and view created audits connected to the business object.

Prerequisites

Only a system administrator can access and configure the audit object connections in the Object Connections window.

As a result of this activity, a business object is made audit aware.

Procedure

1. Populate the Object Connections window and search for the required LU name. If the LU name for the object that you want to connect is not displayed in the list, you will have to add a new connection line.
2. Select the required LU name and add AuditObjectConnection^ in the Service List column.
3. Save when complete.
