Usage

Use this dialog box to create a complete external file type definition by copying all definitions from an existing external file type.

This dialog box is launched when you right-click in the External File Types window.

Using this dialog box, you will create the following:

• An external file type including detailed information, such as record data and column data.
• Parameter definitions for the file type, i.e., available parameters, parameter set, and parameters per set.
