Define Project Roles

Explanation

Use this activity to enter enter project roles which should be used in a specific project. Persons can be assigned to each project role, and project roles entered here can be connected to a project, subproject or activity.

Prerequisites

Default project roles should have been entered in the Default Project Roles tab of the Project Basic window.

System Effects

Only the project roles entered here can be used when assigning persons to project roles.

Procedure

1. Open the Project window and query for your project.
2. Click the Project Roles tab and create a new record.
3. In the Role ID field, use the List of Values to select a project role for this project. (Note: Values for the Description and Type of Role fields will be automatically retrieved based on the information entered in the Default Project Roles tab of the Project Basic window).
4. Save the record.
