This documentation is valid for both Standard Costs window and Internal Price/Employee Price tab.
Use this tab/window to assign the internal hourly cost for employees. It is populated with employees with active status. To see other statuses you may use the Query dialog.
The system will use a priority order when a cost is indicated as standard cost. Standard costs can be assigned to one of the following options (only one can be selected for each record):
Costs with higher priority (Prio 1 being the highest) override costs with lower priority.
Example: An internal cost has been set for a specific position (Position X). A different internal cost has been set for a specific employee who holds Position X. Since the cost for a specific employee has a higher priority than the cost for a position, the cost for the employee will be the valid one.
The following options are available on the right mouse
button menu:
- Standard Cost for an Employee.
- Change query status...
