Define Warranty on Work Task

Explanation

This activity is used to define a customer/supplier warranty on a work task. If the Actual Object connected to the work task has already applicable warranties those can be connected to the work task.

Prerequisites

System Effects

Customer / Supplier warranty will be connected to the work task and the predefined warranty information will be applicable on the relevant work task transactions.

Procedure

  1. Open the Work Task or the Work Tasks window, alternatively select the Work Tasks tab in the Prepare Work Order , Report In Work Order or the Work Order Structure window.
  2. Query the work order and then select the appropriate work task. (F3)
  3. Right click on work task and point to Warranty and select Customer Warranty or Supplier Warranty appropriately.
  4. Select the required warranty row.
  5. Select OK.
  6. Observe that the warranty information is updated on Work Task/Object tab or Work Tasks window.
