Define Sign Off Requirements

Explanation

This activity is used to define sign off requirements on the work task. It is common to have requirements on the skills required to sign off the work that has been performed.

Following is a list of the sign off requirements that can be defined for work task:

Note:
The person performing an independent sign off cannot be the same person who performed executor or inspector sign off.

It is only possible to enter sign off requirements before the work task is released.

It will not be possible to make any changes to or add new sign off requirements for work tasks distributed from Fleet and Asset Management. These work tasks will have predefined sign off requirements transferred from task cards and subtasks.

Before defining the Sign Off requirements, the following must have been completed:

Procedure

Use the following procedure to enter the information:

  1. Open the Work Task or alternatively select the Work Task tab in the Prepare Work Order or the Work Order Structure window.
  2. Query the work order and then select the appropriate work task. (F3)
  3. Click the Sign Off Requirements tab.
  4. Create a new record (F5).
  5. Specify the Sign Off Requirement Type.
  6. Optionally, use the List of Values to select a value for Certificate Group and Certificate ID.
  7. Save the record (F12).
