Credit Invoiced Line
Explanation
This activity is used to credit the customer order created from a sales line
when it has been invoiced to the customer.
Prerequisites
- A work task must exist.
- A sales line must exist which has the State as "Transferred" and
the Customer Order in Invoiced status.
System Effects
As a result of this activity
- A Sales line will be created automatically with a minus Qty to
Invoice as the original sales line. This sales line will be transferred
to another customer order to credit the invoiced amount.
- Another sales line will be created with the same information as the
original sales line. This sales line can be used if the user wants to
invoice the Customer with a corrected price or quantity.

Procedure
Use the following procedure to credit he customer order line using the
Work Task,
Prepare Work Order
or
Work Order Structure
window.
- Query the work task, or alternatively, query for the work order and click
the Work Task tab.
- Click the Sales tab.
- Select the relevant Sales lines to be credited.
- Right-click and point to Credit
Invoiced Line.
- Note that two additional sales lines will be created.
- One sales line will be transferred to a customer order with the credited
amount.
- Other sales line is created to invoice the customer with the correct
price and quantity.
