Create an Invoice Preview

Explanation

This activity is used to create an Invoice Preview to initiate the invoicing of services done through work tasks/work orders. It is possible to merge sales lines for invoicing on a specific criteria, if needed. Or otherwise it is possible to invoice as sales line generated on work task execution and reporting. In general, it is considered that tasks must be reported before invoicing, but allowed to override it and invoice any sales line on a released task.

Procedure

To perform this activity, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Report In Work Order window.
  2. Query for the work order.
  3. Right click on the Report In Work Order header and select Create Invoice Preview.
  4. In the dialog, select the criteria that needs to be invoiced.
  5. Optionally, specify a group level.
  6. Optionally, check on merge by sales part.
  7. Make a filtration, if required.
  8. Click OK.
